Workspace records and files
Records and uploaded files are held to provide the services you use. Their lifecycle depends on the feature, your deletion requests and any applicable retention obligations. Exact retention periods and review intervals are being finalized.
Keep an independent copy of documents your company must retain. A workspace archive or a hidden item is not necessarily a deletion.
Export before closing an account
The Account and data area provides an export flow for supported workspace records. Check the export and download any files you need before requesting closure. Access to the workspace may no longer be available after deletion.
Deletion requests
Where enabled, personal-account deletion requires password verification and explicit confirmation. If self-service deletion is unavailable, contact us to request assistance.
The deletion flow covers account records and recorded workspace uploads. Deletion can require follow-up if a step fails or files are still being uploaded. We do not promise immediate removal of every copy. A request is not confirmation that deletion has completed.
Information that may remain
Some information may need to be retained to meet applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes or protect the service. Any such retention should be limited to the relevant purpose and duration. The specific schedule still needs confirmation.
Documents already sent to a recipient or shared with a separate service provider are subject to that recipient’s own obligations and retention practices. Deleting an Aphelor account does not recall those copies.
Logs, measurement and preferences
Technical logs support security and troubleshooting. Product measurement follows the choice described on the Privacy page. Browser preferences remain on your device until changed or cleared.
Provider log and analytics retention periods are being confirmed. Opting out of future measurement does not itself erase events already processed.
Backups
Deletion from active systems and expiry of backup copies are separate processes. Backup schedules, retention windows and restoration procedures must be confirmed for the deployed service. No fixed backup-erasure deadline is stated in this draft.
Ask about your data
Contact us with your account email and whether you need an export, correction, deletion or information about retention. We may verify your identity before acting. Avoid including financial files in the initial message.
